The Tahoe Basin is a place of breathtaking beauty: a sanctuary of towering forests, crystal clear waters and diverse widlife. At its heart stands the sugar pine, the king of these forests. Unfortunately, due to fires and diseases, sugar pines are disappearing. The Sugar Pine Foundation has been working for the last 20 years to bring back these iconic trees.
